Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 44 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. When you open a page, Netlify processes technically necessary server log data: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in running the site securely. Transfers to the USA are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses.

Fonts

All fonts are served from this website. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other outside provider.

Embedded videos

Some pages show YouTube videos. They are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only load when you click play. Until then, no data is sent to YouTube. Once you start a video, YouTube, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, receives technical data such as your IP address and may store information on your device. Google may also process this data in the USA. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG, which you give by clicking play. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

Analytics

I use Umami Cloud for visitor statistics. Umami sets no cookies and stores no personal data. It records only aggregated information such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, device type and anonymous events like a click on a CV download. Individual visitors cannot be identified. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Getting in touch

If you email me, I process what you send in order to answer you. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please use the email address above. You may also complain to a data protection authority, in Bavaria the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht.
